The Boundless Retreat is an interactive, multi-day experience designed to help participants explore ancient prayer practices and embodied spiritual disciplines. Join author and speaker Danielle Strickland for a weekend of spiritual formation, collective worship, group sessions, outdoor adventures, and deep reflection.

Barnabas Landing is a secluded 82-acre retreat centre on Keats Island, surrounded by ocean, forest, and quiet walking trails. It’s a space designed for rest, connection, and spiritual renewal—far from the pace of everyday life.

The Boundless Retreat is designed for anyone seeking a deeper experience of God, meaningful community, and spiritual renewal. No prior experience with Boundless is required.

Barnabas is located on the northern tip of Keats Island, just off BC’s Sunshine Coast, near the town of Gibsons. You can find us on a map here.

Barnabas Landing is located on Keats Island, just off the coast of Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast.
To get there, you’ll take a ferry from Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver to Langdale (Gibsons). From the Langdale Ferry Terminal, Barnabas Landing provides a scheduled water taxi that will bring you directly across the water to the retreat centre on.
Detailed transportation instructions, timing, and arrival information will be sent to you after registration to help you plan your trip with ease.

Your registration includes accommodations, all meals (chef-prepared with farm-to-table ingredients grown on site), and full access to retreat programming and facilities.

Absolutely. Many people attend on their own. The retreat is designed to foster connection and community from the moment you arrive.

While personal devices are welcome, we invite you to use this time as an opportunity to pause, step away from distractions, and enter fully into the practices and presence of God. Slowing down allows you to become more embodied, attentive, and aware—so you can engage deeply with the breath, the cold, the natural surroundings, and the community around you.

A detailed packing list will be sent closer to the retreat, but plan for comfortable clothing, layers for outdoor weather, walking shoes, swimwear for the hot tub or optional cold plunges, and anything you need for personal reflection time.
